The Project

As MFR's full development team, CodingIT has helped them modernize a decade-old platform, improve system performance, and launch scalable infrastructure — all while providing day-to-day engineering support to both product and internal support teams.

The Challenge

When MFR first approached CodingIT, time zone misalignment with their previous vendor led to long delays, and they had no ownership of their Bitbucket repositories after more than 10 years with the same team. The legacy stack (Laravel 4) was tightly coupled and poorly documented, the Tyler Technologies API integration was obsolete, and their support department lacked engineering help for technical tickets.

A Laravel 4 to Laravel 10 migration, a front-end rebuilt in React, an API-first architecture, and an upgraded Tyler Technologies API for compliance and future integrations.

A full discovery phase, a modern system architecture, first-ever infrastructure documentation and deployment processes, and an API documentation portal.

Flexibility & Transparency
