The Project

Team Spark is how CodingIT runs its own delivery: it decides which engineers work on which client projects, and when, with workforce planning and real-time project assignment in one system. CodingIT built it for itself: its margin depends on how well its people are matched to client work, which made CodingIT its own most demanding user.

The Challenge

Before Team Spark, CodingIT planned its own resourcing in spreadsheets. Allocation lived across multiple Excel sheets with no single view of capacity, assignments or future demand, preparing a staffing plan took several days of manual coordination, and planning relied on who happened to remember what.

The Solution

CodingIT built a centralized platform holding capacity planning, project and team allocation, recruiting and time-off in one place, and runs its own delivery operation on it.
